pH - The pH is an indication of the acid or caustic content of a water based liquid (pH = 1.0 is very acidic; pH = 7.0 is neutral; and pH 14.0 is very caustic). Protective Cap or Cover - A component that is attached to a potentially hazardous edge or projection to reduce the possibility of injury.

Protective Tip - A component that is attached to the impacting end of a projectile to minimize injury if it should impact the body.
