本标准规定了在没有外加辐射条件下，用小火焰直接冲击垂直放置的试样以测定建筑制品可燃性的方法。对于未被火焰点燃就熔化或收缩的制品，附录A给出了附加试验程序。附录B给出了试验方法精确度的信息。
