本标准规定了电铲用钢丝绳（以下简称钢丝绳)的分类、订货内容、要求、试验、判定与复验、验收、包装、标志和质量证明书及安全维护。本标准适用于电铲作业中铲斗提升、吊铲提升、推压、回拉、抬斗、铲斗开合、变幅、吊杆定距等用途的钢丝绳。本标准不适用于吊杆定距（绷绳)用途的密封钢丝绳。

This standard specifies the classification, order information, requirements, test methods, determination and retesting, check and acceptation, packing, marking and certification, safety and maintenances for electric shovel steel wire ropes (hereinafter referred to as ropes). This standard is applicable to electric excavator, such as bucket hoisting for shovel excavator, hoisting rope for drag line excavator, crowd, retract, bucket hoisting, dump, variable pitch, and boom pendants. This standard is inapplicable to locked coil rope of boom pendants.
