本标准规定了悬索桥吊索用钢丝绳的术语和定义、分类与标记、订货内容、技术要求、试验方法、检验规则、验收方法、包装、标志及质量证明书、安全使用和维护等内容。本标准适用于直径范围为40 mm～120 mm、绳级不超过2160级的悬索桥吊索用钢丝绳。

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, ordering information, requirements, test method, inspection rule, packing, marking and quality certificate, safe use and maintenance for hanger of suspension bridge. This standard is applicable to steel wire ropes for hanger of suspension bridge with diameter of 40 mm-120 mm and rope grade not exceeding grade 2160.
