This method applies to the testing of thin sheet or woven material which is sufficiently pliable to be inserted into the test apparatus by hand without special softening treatment, so that it may be graded according to a flammability index. The test is unsuitable for materials which melt readily or shrink away from an igniting flame.

1．范围

适用于薄片或机织物，比较柔软，只需用手，而不需用软化处理就可以将样品塞到测试仪器中，使用燃烧指数来进行性能的评级的。该测试不适用于容易熔化，容易在接触火源后熔缩的产品。

2．样品

535mm*75mm 18个

3．预处理

可以进行洗涤或干洗，对其进行预处理，但是预处理与否，处理的次数均由买卖双方确定，标准中没有硬性规定。

4．平衡

样品要在20摄氏度，65% RH的环境下平衡不少于24小时。

5．测试火源：

0.1mL的纯酒精。

6．测试方法

（1）样品垂直放置，距离酒精盘上边缘：12.5mm；
（2）在酒精火焰点燃样品的底端后160s，如果明火没有到达第21个标记线，记录最大高度。如果明火在160s之前到达第21个标记线，则记录到达时的时间；
（3）用热电偶温度计180s内的温度，时间间隔最大为1s

7．报告

（1）160s时明火的最大高度D；
（2）如果明火到达第21个标志线时，时间小于54s，则记录时间；
（3）烟洞处温度和周围温度之间两条线之间的面积A。
